RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 9970 Assistant Loco Pilot Posts

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released its latest employment notification CEN No. 01/2025 for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). There are a total of 9970 vacancies open for recruitment across various RRB zones. Candidates eligible and interested in this opportunity can apply online from 12th April 2025 to 11th May 2025.

• Post: Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 1st July 2025 (Relaxations applicable)
• Educational Qualification: Matriculation + ITI OR Diploma in Engineering (refer Annexure A for trades)
• Medical Standard: A-1 (Vision and fitness standards apply)

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after CBT-1)
• SC/ST/Female/ExSM/Minorities/EBC: ₹250 (fully refunded after CBT-1)

Selection Process

1. First Stage CBT (CBT-1)
2. Second Stage CBT (CBT-2)
3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination

Exam Pattern Highlights

• CBT-1: 75 questions, 60 minutes
• CBT-2: Two parts – Part A (100 questions) & Part B (75 questions)
• CBAT: Qualifying nature – Minimum 42 marks in each section
